Resumen
Introduction: Students' physical and emotional situation is closely linked to their eating habits and to the level of physical activity they carry out, these being crucial elements in their lives. Objective: To analyze the relationship between eating habits and the level of physical activity of accounting students in university education. Methodology: This study used a quantitative, cross-sectional and correlational approach, implementing structural equation modeling (SEM). Two questionnaires composed of Likert-scale items were administered to 324 accounting students in order to examine possible links. Results: Standardized coefficients were obtained for physical activity with significance of (p<0.820), training (p<0.798) and sports practice (p<0.883), as well as between the level of physical exercise of accounting students and their eating habits (p<0.856). Conclusions: There is a strong correlation between the amount of exercise performed daily and the quality of eating practices; students who exercise regularly tend to consume more nutritious foods. In contrast, low physical activity is associated with an increased risk of obesity and other chronic conditions in the future. © (2026), (Didactic Asociation Andalucia). All Rigths Reserved.
