Resumen

La The purpose of this study was to develop a systematic review of the literature between 2010-2023 on the use of E-learning in university engineering programs. In this sense, an analytical and structured study was designed that contemplated several stages for the search, selection, classification, tabulation and analysis of the information in various published studies. The study used the PRISMA 2020 statement and databases such as Scopus, Scielo, Redalyc, among others, were analyzed. The systematic review included 27 studies that went through the various stipulated stages and met inclusion and exclusion criteria. The bibliometric results show an increase in the number of publications as of 2021, especially in Spanish (59%). Finally, the content analysis led to the conclusion that the E-learning tool in university engineering programs presents empirical evidence of its positive impact on students’ academic performance.
