Resumen
When a natural or human-made disaster occurs, one of the essential things to do is a post-disaster risk management plan. To carry out this plan, it is necessary to know which areas have been the most affected, what level of affectation they have had, which communication channels are still in force, in such a way as to know what kind of help to bring and where to get it. Citizen science can help this task of knowing the effects and their levels since the affected people could provide in-situ information. In this sense, a tool's development is proposed to combine satellite images, georeference information, and citizen science for better post-disaster management and make the best decisions. This work is a big help for decision-makers and can be used not only in Peru, but it can also be replicated in each of other countries. © Copyright 2020 by Stefan A.
