Resumen
This study analyzes the relationship between digital leisure practices and identity-construction processes in youths aged 18-25 living in Lima (Peru), considering their digital narratives and experience of well-being. Using a mixed descriptive-interpretative approach, a structured survey was conducted with 455 young people of different age groups. The results indicate that digital leisure is part of young people's daily routine and plays a key role in building their digital identity, which manifests itself in diverse, reflexive, and ambivalent ways. The qualitative analysis shows nuances in forms of self-presentation based on age group. It is thus concluded that digital leisure serves as a space for the production of personal narratives and identity management, configured as a heterogeneous and situated experience in young people's lives. © Copyright (c) 2026 Ivan Cruz Ramirez Banda, Marcelo Paolo Taito Jara, Adriana Margarita Turriate Guzman (Author).
