Resumen
This study analyzes the relationship between the level of development of digital law and compliance with personal data protection measures in Peruvian organizations, within a context marked by the advancement of digital government and the increasing processing of personal information. A mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design was employed. In the quantitative phase, a survey was administered to 300 participants from various organizations, and the data were analyzed using Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient with SPSS version 27. Subsequently, in the qualitative phase, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 20 specialists affiliated with the Peruvian National Authority for Personal Data Protection. The results show a positive and significant relationship between the development of digital law and compliance with personal data protection measures (p = 0.614; p < 0.001). It is concluded that strengthening digital law promotes better organizational data protection practices in the context of digital government.
