Resumen
Currently, there have been disputes and other social problems mainly due to the claim of the rights that certain settlers claim to have over the space they inhabit in the district of Callerías in the region of Ucayali, Peru. This constitutes the problematic situation to be analyzed in this research. Therefore, the main objective is to diagnose the current land possession situation, since this will allow the authorities to develop strategies and take the corresponding corrective measures to eliminate the repeated conflicts. In order to delve into the issue, the researchers will explain a theoretical framework of the real rights written by local and foreign authors, the land tenure system in the district will be explored with a sample of 384 inhabitants. Subsequently, the potential causes of conflicts will be diagnosed by means of cognitive mapping and IADOV methods to subsequently propose solutions for the mitigation of this situation.
