Resumen
Currently, solar energy has experienced limited development due to a lack of knowledge and technical information about renewable energy sources, as well as the urgent need for industries to transition to a viable and sustainable solution driven by technological advancements and innovations. For this systematic literature review (SLR), the PICO methodology was applied to select relevant articles based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulting in a final selection of 38 articles. According to the research findings, solar energy demonstrates greater efficiency through the implementation of solar plants compared to other renewable energy sources. Although solar energy operates within a hybrid system, its widespread adoption remains limited due to high installation and maintenance costs, as well as a lack of government incentives. In conclusion, technological advancements and sustainable strategies position solar energy as a key solution in the transition toward a renewable energy matrix.
