León León R.A.; Chavez Rodriguez P.A.; Guillen Dominguez M.F. · CICIC 2023 - Decima Tercera Conferencia Iberoamericana de Complejidad, Informatica y Cibernetica en el contexto de the 14th International Multi-Conference on Complexity, Informatics, and Cybernetics, IMCIC 2023 - Memorias (2023) · DOI: 10.54808/cicic2023.01.210

Resumen

The use of new technologies has been increasingly widespread, especially in the context of security. Among these technologies, biometrics stands out as it allows for the identification of individuals based on their physiological parameters, especially facial recognition. The purpose of this article is to create a facial security system for controlling entry and exit using software and Python libraries, incorporating over 2500 optimized data algorithms. The Viola-Jones algorithm was implemented to select the descriptor that best separates the samples and is more inclusive, allowing for the development of an interface to register the data of each person. This system enables access through facial recognition and simultaneously tracks their entry and exit from classrooms.
