Resumen
The Consensus artificial intelligence constitutes an efficient tool for the preparation of summaries and the development of analysis of extensive texts, facilitating the organization and synthesis of academic articles. The aim of this study is to develop and validate an instrument that allows evaluation regarding the use of the Consensus tool in university students in Peru. The sample was made up of 307 students from a private Peruvian university. A 15-item questionnaire is applied to identify the usability of Consensus, the adaptation to Consensus and analyze areas of information processing and privacy in the use of the Consensus tool. The results show a high evaluation in the reliability analysis, reflected in a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.960. In conclusion, the application of the questionnaire allows us to know and evaluate the skills of students who begin with the search and review of information in scientific articles.
