Resumen
In the city of Huancayo there are companies that are dedicated to the production of condiments and spices, among them is the company "Sazón Lopesa S.A.", which is dedicated to processing condiments such as ground cumin, oregano, ground turmeric, etc. Currently, the envelope filling area in the boxes of the production company is limited because the workers in that area perform this function manually, the process consists of filling a number of envelopes in the boxes to secure and store them. There is a wide variety of semi-automatic and automatic envelope filling machines that facilitate this process, optimizing production times. These technologies have been implemented in some of the large companies dedicated to the production of spiced condiments, so the need arises to have an automated machine that facilitates and speeds up the process of this production line. The objective of this article is to design a sachet filling machine to optimize the filling process, with the help of the Flexsim software, the manual process is simulated in an 8-hour day, resulting in 442 full boxes. The process was also simulated with the automated machine, resulting in 680 full boxes in an 8-hour day, which shows that the automated machine improves production by 35.29%, and the process with the automated machine reduces the number of operators. The proposed machine has three conveyor belts, presence sensors and counters. These sensors will be controlled by a PLC that will process the signals to automate the process.
