Resumen
The winding materials manufacturing and processing industry faces the challenge of improving its efficiency and competitiveness by adopting new technologies and optimizing industrial processes. The purpose of this article is to offer an innovative solution that will not only increase operational efficiency and reduce production costs, but also boost the modernization and competitiveness of companies. A qualitative approach is adopted to capture perspectives and experiences, contributing to a non-experimental design. The descriptive scope thoroughly understands the manual winding process, identifying its particularities and specific needs of the operators. An experimental approach is used in the design and evaluation of the prototype, ensuring systematic testing to measure its performance and production efficiency. The results reveal an innovative design that significantly improves operational efficiency and reduces production costs compared to traditional manual processes. The implementation with the Logo! software that comes bundled with the HMI proves to be highly effective since the parameters can be included and demonstrated with production accuracy. The most significant conclusion lies in the contribution of fundamental knowledge on the economic and operational benefits derived from the adoption of these technologies, improving productivity, quality, labor safety and alignment with the principles of Industry 4.0. The goal is not only to optimize a specific process, but also to boost modernization and competitiveness in a demanding global market.
