Resumen
The conducted study focused on improving the commercial management of a Tailoring business through the design and implementation of a web system. The hypotheses raised regarding the improvement in sales processes, rentals, and orders were supported through research with a causal correlational scope. A quantitative approach was chosen using the Likert scale to collect data and statistical analysis supported by the Student's t-test to evaluate the hypotheses. The population consisted of 15 employees, and census sampling was applied to the research. The system development was based on the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology, divided into Planning, Design, Coding, and Testing, using specific tools to structure the development process. The results obtained from the Likert scale survey showed a clear improvement in all evaluated aspects after implementing the web system. Statistical analyses confirmed these improvements, demonstrating that the system contributed positively to sales management, rentals, orders, and transaction visualization, among other aspects. The conclusions revealed that a detailed understanding of the tailoring business's internal processes was fundamental. The XP methodology proved to be effective for developing the web system, focusing on business needs. Implementing the web system validated the hypotheses raised and marked a significant improvement in the tailoring business's commercial and operational management, surpassing conventional methods.
