The objective of this research is to analyze the problem of corruption in Peru, particularly context, problems, scandals and anti-corruption struggles. The methodology refers to a review of different related bibliographic sources, 24 articles were selected from the Scopus database, whose research variables are related to corruption and the Peruvian political situation. The results show that in Peru anti-corruption institutional reforms have been promoted that create conditions for the struggles, and the administrative and political context has been described since the corruption scandals, such is the case of Odebrecht and the White Necks of the Port. It is concluded that the political and economic situation in Peru favors the appearance and spread of corruption, at all levels of government and the fight against corruption that originates from the interest of citizens, can stop or mitigate it.
