Corporate Social Responsibility: an Unconsummated Bioethical Paradigm

Mendoza Pizan E.; Ortiz Leon D.G.; Salas Morales A.J.; Ramírez Figueroa K.P. · Revista de Filosofia (Venezuela) (2022) · DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.6773628

Resumen

The study aims to show the state of the art of the CSR-bioethics dichotomy, which as a paradigm of socio-environmental salvation, has not been consummated, at least in Latin America and especially in Peru. As a final reflection, it was obtained that in general companies only try to see the worker, the territorial environment and the environment as resources for the achievement of financial productivity, therefore, an urgent and enormous transformation and transorganization of business theory is required, which promote the application of CSR with bioethical management tools. Finally, it is proposed to introduce bioethics and CSR in the curricula of business schools and business administration of universities, as a starting point to face conflicts of values and impacts on nature. The methodological approach applied was qualitative-phenomenological through documentary review with the practice of hermeneutics.
