Conversational AI in Construction: Identifying the Most Effective Technology for Resolving Technical Questions During the Construction Process

Resumen

Currently, the construction industry faces different challenges related to solving technical doubts during the construction process. That is why this article studies the application of conversational artificial intelligence to address these needs. This research was carried out through a comparative analysis of the responses provided by five conversational AI platforms (Chat GPT, Google Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity IA and Meta IA) to the common questions that arise during the construction process of buildings, aspects were evaluated. key such as the accuracy of responses and the use and interpretation of current building regulations to illustrate the performance of each AI in practical situations. The results obtained show that the platforms that provide the most precise and regulatory-based answers are Chat GPT and Meta AI, but Chat GPT is the one that shows superior performance in resolving technical doubts during the construction process. So we conclude by saying Chat Gpt is the best conversational AI that can be applied to resolve technical doubts that arise during the construction process.
