Resumen
This article aims to evaluate the legal treatment of consumers with disabilities in Peru by conducting a micro-comparative analysis with other Latin American countries. The methodology employed is qualitative, involving documentary analysis, and utilizes descriptive scope as well as the dogmatic-legal, comparative-legal, and hermeneutic methods. The results reveal significant progress in the protection of consumers with disabilities; however, the lack of accessibility remains one of the main barriers to understanding product and service information. The conclusion emphasizes the need to incorporate inclusive policies in consumer rights and to promote them accessibly based on the principles of universal design.
