Figueroa-Mendez E.H.; Bravo-Guevara D.R.; Cerna-Moyano M.E.; Jacobo-Morales D.; Wong-Kit J.E.G. · Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems (2025) · DOI: 10.1007/978-981-97-9327-3_1

Resumen

This research focuses on describing the components of opinion journalism and the function they play within the television field, with the purpose of evidencing the specific sequences and patterns that are distinguished in the broadcasts of the opinion journalism program “Beto a Saber.” Likewise, the persuasive and subjective elements that originate from professional performance in this context are detailed. The methodology is qualitative and focuses on the analysis of 31 broadcasts of the journalistic program during the year 2021. This research establishes a meticulous analysis of the hegemonic perspective exercised by the program with respect to opinion journalism, since it evidences a dual current of information and critical analysis. With this, it is intended to generate a theoretical contribution that facilitates the debate on television journalistic opinion. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.
