Resumen
The Peruvian textile sector, noted for its dynamism and economic relevance, is home to numerous SMEs dedicated to the production and export of textiles. In the current global context, competitiveness becomes vital for the survival of these companies. This study aims to analyze the competitiveness of exporting SMEs in the textile sector in Peru, addressing key aspects such as product quality, operational efficiency, access to international markets, innovation, and financial capacity. A quantitative methodological approach was used, using questionnaires with Likert-type scales to collect information. The results show that medium-sized companies stand out in product quality and design, while large companies have greater access to international markets and financial capacity. No significant differences were observed in operational efficiency and innovation between the different sizes of companies. These correlations highlight the importance of product quality and financial capacity for the competitiveness of Peruvian textile SMEs.
