Collaborative virtual environments: Lessons in the Post-pandemic, a systematic review

Carrasco L.; Delfín Y. · Revista Tecnologica Espol (2023) · DOI: 10.37815/rte.v35n3.1077

Resumen

This article aims to systematically review collaborative learning in virtual environments based on an analysis of academic research published during the pandemic between 2020 and 2022 through the questions that led the study. The Prisma methodology was used to select and evaluate employing categories of the sources to analyse the main contributions. The results indicate that out of 50 articles reviewed, 60% were found in Scopus, with Ecuador and Chile being the Latin American countries where research related to the topic has been carried out. In conclusion, the study has allowed evidence of different strategies used in collaborative learning in virtual environments during the full pandemic, which forced institutions, teachers and students to incorporate into a new reality, discovering the needs and deficiencies of the current educational process, transforming them into a different way of teaching and learning.
