Resumen
Research trends in cloud computing and its main interdisciplinary convergences with artificial intelligence and big data were identified using a bibliometric approach. Despite various bibliometric studies addressing the topic from different perspectives, no recent publications on cloud computing in this decade were found in Scopus. The field has experienced significant growth in the past ten years and has a high scientific impact, with a notable average number of citations per document. China and India are the leading contributors in this domain. The main characteristics of cloud computing studies in Scopus highlight its convergence with artificial intelligence and big data, reflected in systematic reviews and key scientific contributions. Term co-occurrence mapping revealed widely discussed topics such as cloud computing environments, cloud security, digital storage, and cryptography. More recently, Edge Computing has gained attention, with applications in various network environments. © The authors.
