Resumen
This article describes the modeling of electromagnetic propagation in the frequency domain for the most representative types of walls existing in the archaeological zone of Rumiwasi in the band from 800 MHz to 1 GHz using autoregressive moving-average (ARMA) process, which is considered important since it can simulate a variety of systems in different fields of engineering. This was done from the S21 parameter, which roughly represents the transfer function of channel communication that was obtained using a channel sounder in the frequency domain. The calculation of the parameters of the ARMA processes is presented with the use of the statsmodels library in Python because it provides simple commands to obtain statistical models for each wall. This is based on the Akaike information criterion to acquire the optimal order for each model. On the completion of this process, the transfer functions are achieved. Its precision is calculated with the graphic analysis of the model’s comparison and measured values, which also appear in the graphic analysis of residuals. As a result, there is a good approximation to the models previously obtained.
