Resumen

Introduction: Innovation has become a key driver for strengthening entrepreneurship, especially in contexts marked by economic and social challenges. Objective: To explore the opportunities and challenges that innovation faces within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, as well as its impact on sustainable development. Materials and Methods: A narrative review of scientific literature published between 2021 and 2025 was conducted, selecting relevant studies from recognized databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, Scielo, and ProQuest. Results: Innovation was found to boost competitiveness, create jobs, and improve quality of life; however, obstacles such as lack of resources, technological training, and access to support networks persist. Conclusions: It is concluded that strengthening innovative entrepreneurship requires coordination among public policies, education, and social commitment, with the aim of building a fairer, more resilient environment that is better prepared for future changes. © (2026), (Revista Lasallista de Investigacion).
