Resumen
This study investigates the impact of entrepreneurial empowerment on the success of artisanal ice cream ventures in the Mantaro Valley, Peru. Entrepreneurial empowerment, defined as the distribution of power and resources among members of an organization, has been identified as a crucial factor in improving organizational effectiveness. Using a qualitative and explanatory approach, data were collected from 63 entrepreneurs using a Likert-scale questionnaire and interview guides. The results showed that 96.8% of entrepreneurs presented a high level of empowerment and 100% rated their level of entrepreneurship as high. The multiple linear regression model indicated that entrepreneurial empowerment significantly explains entrepreneurial success. Furthermore, all dimensions of empowerment (individual, process, environment, and organization) showed high scores. The discussion compared these findings with previous studies, highlighting the importance of empowerment in entrepreneurial success and its practical implications. Limitations of the study, such as sample size and pandemic context, were also considered. In conclusion, this research provides strong evidence of the importance of entrepreneurial empowerment in the success of artisanal ice cream ventures in the Mantaro Valley, suggesting future lines of research.
