Resumen
Acute myeloid leukemia is a hematologic malignancy that can be accompanied by myeloid sarcomas. Their localization is varied, the most frequent being the skin and soft parts. An unusual place is the breast, especially in pediatric patients. We present a 9-year-old girl with cytopenias and breast tumor. Magnetic resonance imaging showed that the tumor was included in the breast tissue without invading contiguous tissue and the biopsy revealed the presence of a myeloid sarcoma. It is important to consider myeloid sarcoma into the differential diagnosis in a patient with the presence of masses and alterations in the complete blood count.
