Resumen
As digital education rapidly evolves, it is important to guarantee the quick, safe, and efficient access to learning materials. Edge computing in combination with blockchain technology provides a viable solution to these threats by providing decentralized, low-latency, and unalterable educational applications. The paper discusses the fusion of the two technologies and generalizes system performance, security, and scalability through secondary data of educational technology platforms, blockchain networks, and edge computing application. The findings indicate that there was an average of 79 percent decrease in the latency in comparison with conventional cloud-based systems and 70.7 percent increase in tampering, and a complete audit trail of data. An elaborate practical document on how such technologies can be applied in actual learning environments is provided with the support of empirical evidence. The results indicate the possibilities of changing educational ecosystems to scalable, safe, and highly responsive environments that are capable of addressing modern learner and educator needs.
