Resumen

The present research work aimed to determine the influence of a biomedical system in the remote monitoring of hospitalized patients during the COVID-19 juncture. The type of analysis has been pre-experimental; with a sample of10 nurses fro m the hospitalization area of a clinic in the city of Trujillo. For data collection, three questionnaires and an observation sheet were applied. For data analysis, the Shapiro Wilk normality test and the Student's t hypothesis test were used. Likewise, the parameters included in the monitoring of patients are described, which were the fulfillment of needs, monitoring protocol, usability and accuracy of biomedical data. The results showed that the implementation of the biomedical system obtained an increase of 21.1% in the Fulfillm ent of Needs, an 18.18% in the Effectiveness of the monitoring protocol, a 25.51% in the Usability and finally we obtained an increase of 14.68% in the Accuracy. of Biomedical Data, compared to classical monitoring. Based on the foregoing, it was concluded that the biomedical system had a positive influence on the monitoring of hospitalized patients during the COVID-19 juncture carried out by nurses from a clinic in the city of Trujillo in 2021.
