Biolelectricty in Physics Courses of Engineering Programs

Nieto-Chaupis H. · 2026 IEEE/ACIS 24th International Conference on Software Engineering Research, Management and Applications, SERA 2026 (2026) · DOI: 10.1109/sera69989.2026.11618654

Resumen

Nowadays, some programs of engineering are containing an important component in medical and biological areas. These programs share approximately same contents at least in the first 2 years. Hybrid courses containing physics and biology might take more than 2 years for students to be able to acquire a deep knowledge. In this paper, it is focused on the concrete example of cell endocytosis, a critic phenomenon for all those techniques of targeted drug delivery systems. Thus, it is incorporated the well-known physics of capacitors that to some extent would fit into the spectrum of examples that biomedical and related programs of engineering have in their curricula. This paper, centers specifically in the processes of internalization of delivered drugs into tumor cells or anomalous tissues. Basically, attention has been paid in the importance of geometry of nanotubes to be captured by cell. The proposed model of paper is just an example of cell endocytosis that can be covered as content in the part of biolelectricity combining physics and biology.
