Bioclimatic Housing for the District of Molinos, Jauja, Peru

Rios A.E.G.; Vargas D.E. · Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems (2025) · DOI: 10.1007/978-981-97-3859-5_44

Resumen

The objective of this research is to propose a bioclimatic housing model, in the district of Molinos, Jauja province, Junín Region, due to the precariousness of housing, the lack of thermal comfort conditions, and the scarce use of solar energy. Passively, which generates inadequate habitability conditions, bioclimatic principles were applied, using climatology, solar geometry and the environment of the place as design resources to achieve interior thermal well-being in the proposal, which was supported with digital tools. (excell, autocad, ecotect analysis). The results obtained from the calculation of thermal balance, showed that the proposed bioclimatic housing model obtains levels of thermal well-being with loss values in winter of −0.594 kW/a and heat gain in summer of 0.597 kW/a, both results less than ± 0.600 kW/a that was the limit for the thermal balance, which resulted in an indicator of 0.003 kW/a of annual gain. The research is a contribution to achieve the improvement of the quality of life of the less favored populations of the country, for with the bioclimatic proposal, it obtains levels of thermal well-being. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.
