Resumen
Grooming constitutes a serious threat to the safety of minors in the digital environment and the psychological and psychosocial mechanisms, employed by abusers, play a crucial role in the manipulation and exploitation of victims. This article explores how victims' low self-esteem, insecurities, fear, and difficulties expressing themselves make them vulnerable to manipulation and the normalization of inappropriate behavior. It also examines psychosocial mechanisms, such as isolation, bonding, and sexualization, which reinforce their control over victims and make it difficult to report abuse. The research employs a qualitative approach through a systematic review of previous studies. It concludes that a comprehensive intervention that includes prevention and digital education is crucial. Furthermore, it highlights the need to strengthen socio-emotional skills in minors and raise awareness among adults to create safer environments.
