Resumen
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of the learning and growth perspective of the Balanced Scorecard on organizational performance in a fishing company in Chimbote, Peru. The research was applied in nature, with a quantitative approach, an explanatory level, and a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected using questionnaires, a checklist, and a document analysis guide, considering worker satisfaction and the development of job competencies as the main indicators. The results showed a significant improvement in both indicators: the job satisfaction index increased from 40.58% to 83.33%, while the job competencies index rose from 40.28% to 80.12%. Overall, the learning and growth perspective increased from 40.43% to 81.73%, representing a change of 41.30 percentage points. It is concluded that strengthening this perspective contributed positively to organizational performance by consolidating internal capacities related to human talent development, motivation, continuous learning, and organizational improvement in the company studied.
