B-LEARNING STRATEGY FOR MEANINGFUL DEVELOPMENT: A BIBLIOMETRIC REVIEW

Resumen

Objective: The objective of the study was to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the B-learning strategy for globally significant development indexed in Scopus from 2003 to 2023. Design/Methodology/Approach: Methodologically, it was a bibliometric, quantitative study. Scientific production indicators were generated from 323 papers selected from Scopus using English keywords ("b-learning" AND "learning"). From 2010 to 2022. Results/Discussion: the number of published papers increased (88%), indicating a growing interest in the subject of study. Spain is the country with the highest scientific production (n=84; 21%), and the University of Salamanca with the highest number of publications (n=14). The journal Educational Technology and Society received 180 citations, with authors Dias, S.B. and Diniz, J.A. (n=145) being the most cited. Conclusions: It is concluded that B-learning is a practical method of instruction today, as educators need support to increase the quality of education delivered during face-to-face sessions. Originality/value: Recent developments have shown that the improvement of technological means of communication between students and teachers is a growing trend that facilitates education and reduces dependence on face-to-face teaching.
