Today, the economic transformation of business is evident thanks to the incursion of technological developments such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), which has become frequent in information management to generate value in production and service processes. This study aims to identify research trends in the field of artificial intelligence in information management through a bibliometric analysis that can provide a context for future research directions. The bibliometric indicators were calculated with the 108 records found in the Scopus database, identifying as main thematic trends: “Decision support system”, “Data profiling”, “Data quality” and “Query language extensions; and as emerging topics part of the future research agenda: “Machine learning” “Big Data era” and “Blockchain”. This study contributes to the identification of thematic lines that can generate new theories and ways of managing in organizations.
