Resumen
This is the first in a series of works summarizing and updating the ceramic traditions defined between the 1960s and 1980s for the middle Ucayali River basin in the Upper Amazon region of Peru. The Tutishcainyo complex (early and late) constitutes the basis of the Amazonian Formative period in Peru, characterized by highly elaborate ceramics, composite forms, and edges decorated with highly complex geometric motifs. © ARQUEOLOGÍA IBEROAMERICANA (2026).
