Resumen
Currently, telephone operators in the city of Puno have coverage in rural areas of Puno. For the evaluation of the coverage service, the rural area of Llachon has been considered as a reference, where tourism is projected to reach an average of 36,672 visitors. The objective was to evaluate the 3G-4G mobile service using the Hata propagation model. For this purpose, the behavior and fixation of the application were used by means of linear regression. Measurements were performed using a spectrum analyzer and various applications in the 700 MHz and 900 MHz UHF bands, centralizing the frequencies in the B28 and B8 bands, respectively. Statistical correlation adjustments of the measurements were made during the day in winter and autumn seasons at temperatures from −12 °C to 16 °C, obtaining acceptable power levels in the mobile devices of −58 dBm to −95 dBm according to the recommendations of the regulation organism: OSIPTEL-Peru. The quality of coverage and voice service is seriously affected by latency and signal fading, especially internet service.
