Cárdenas A.A.A.; Medina L.E.A. · ICACIT 2025 - Proceedings: 11th International Symposium on Accreditation of Engineering and Computing Education (2025) · DOI: 10.1109/icacit66767.2025.11369686

Resumen

Summary—This study presents the implementation of a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution to optimize BBVA's collection system, facilitating strategic affiliations with external entities such as agent networks, financial institutions, and CMACs. Under the Open Banking framework, the solution enables access to collection services through external APIs, expanding the bank's capabilities to include account openings, card payments, and loans. The research employed a pre-experimental design with a quantitative and applicative approach, evaluating a population of 20 professionals from user areas and systems. The results demonstrated significant improvements in the collection system: a 5% increase in capillarity, a 24% increase in volumetry, and a 5% increase in average profitability. Statistical analysis confirmed that the SaaS model effectively optimizes the collection system, validating its positive impact on operational efficiency and creating new business opportunities for various financial capabilities of the bank.
