Resumen
The study aims to analyze and describe the knowledge and application of the PDCA cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act) in continuous improvement processes from the perspective of the organization itself. The objective was to analyze the effectiveness of the PDCA cycle as an efficient tool, identifying its impact on the planning, execution, and control of processes within different business contexts. The type of research was basic, with a non-experimental design, a qualitative approach, and a phenomenological level, as it emphasizes how the professional subjects themselves understand and implement the PDCA cycle in their organizational activities. The results of the study showed that there is a general understanding of the contribution of the PDCA cycle and that it is recognized as useful for enhancing quality management and guiding continuous improvement. It was also noted that its use optimizes processes, reducing the number of errors, but that its implementation requires training and organizational commitment. Accordingly, it is concluded that the application of the PDCA cycle in organizational contexts requires staff training to standardize processes.
