Resumen
This study analyzes anti-racist discourses in the Peruvian anarchist newspaper Los Parias (1904– 1910), examining its constructions of indigenous and Chinese populations during Peru's Aristocratic Republic. Grounded in discourse analysis and Quijano's (2019) coloniality of power, the research identifies a diversified repertoire of discursive strategies that challenged prevailing scientific racism. The newspaper's ideological frameworks constitute a plural synthesis that neither replicates European anarchism nor reduces to liberal indigenism. Political proposals reveal both achievements and blind spots, including the absence of an agrarian program and the tacit reproduction of the coloniality of knowledge. The study demonstrates that González Prada was the dominant intellectual voice within the corpus and that the plurality of contributors constitutes an analytically significant feature.
