Resumen
In the contemporary context, the provision of animal rights is booming. This work will address the latest proposals in this line and the arguments that have been given in this regard in the last thirteen years (2010-2023). The arguments of those who raise the rights of animals will be shown first and, then, they will be analyzed from the metaphysical assumptions of ontological personalism. It is concluded that the arguments in recent years have the same bases of ten years ago and whose foundation is in modern philosophy determinated by metaphysical abandonment that dilutes the ontological distinction between man and animal.
