Resumen
The objective of this research is to determine the mechanical properties of the different mortars manufactured with two types of cement: Pacasmayo cement (extra forteICo) and anti-saltpeter cement (MS). For this purpose, granulometry, density and absorption tests were carried out on the fine aggregate obtained from the Bazán quarry, in addition to flexural and compression resistance tests on 24 units of mortar. The maximum loads and stresses supported by the 6 mortar samples made with anti-saltpeter cement type MS and the other 6 with extra strong type ICo were found, as well as the flexural resistances of the 6 mortar samples made with anti-salt cement. -saltpeter type MS and 6 with extra strong type ICo. Finally, it could be observed that the mortar containing MS type cement supported a greater compression and flexural stress compared to the mortar made with ICo type cement.
