Resumen

The objective of this study is to make an analysis by numbers on the journal Prisma (1905-1907), as described in its publication, original papers versus republications ratio, contributors’ profile and type of texts. This aim was achieved through the application of Digital Humanities, bibliometrics, and relational analysis. The process involved collecting data via web scraping, cleaning and preparing the collected data, and visualizing/ analyzing the results. The research identified Prisma as a journal with an iron hierarchy, which is caused by the concentration of some authors against others. It further found that Prisma acted as a key node in the early 20th century in terms of Peruvian literature because it played a significant role in revaluing textual memory and leading the way toward new aesthetic practices. © (2026), (Universidad de los Andes, Colombia).
