Analysis of Competitive Advantage in the Agricultural Sector. PACAT Case

Resumen

In the broad panorama of the agricultural sector, developing a competitive advantage is a primary task for the survival of businesses. In particular, this study analyzes the strategies applied in the agricultural production sector (PACAT) through a multidiverse analytical framework such as the social, economic and political context that producers have to face, with the technology and technical tools that they have developed, according to their resources and needs. Methodologically, this study is approached from a quantitative approach, and of a descriptive nature with the data collected through the instrument of closed questions, scale type, applied to the 93 PACAT association partners. Definitely, the identified findings point to the need to strengthen the managerial and strategic capacity of agricultural producers to achieve and maintain a competitive advantage. © The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.
