Resumen
Space communication networks require constant evolution to ensure reliable and secure data transfer in highly dynamic environments, a clear example today is the International Space Station (ISS) orbiting more than 400 kilometers above our planet Earth, the communication systems it has are essential for telemetry, mission control and voice communication between crews and ground stations, currently these systems operate mainly in the S and Ku bands as well as in electromagnetic disturbances, which influence the stability and efficiency of transmission. This study aims at a detailed analysis of the American communication infrastructures, identifies their limits and proposes innovative solutions to optimize their performance, new technologies such as free space optical connections (FSO), advanced modulation and coding algorithms and the application of artificial intelligence for adaptation and adaptation, also explores the prerequisite in the industry, underlining the need for the development of more resilient, operational and effective communication systems for future space missions. The results and proposals presented in this research paper not only aim to improve the current U.S. communications infrastructure, but will also lay the groundwork for the next generation of space telecommunications systems in the coming years, given the growing recognition of the technical and methodological challenges that arise.
