Resumen
This study provides an analysis of the morphological units related to the noun and the verb from the perspective of descriptive linguistics in Chaupihuaranga Quechua, a variety of the Yaru subgroup spoken in Daniel Alcides Carrión, one of the three provinces in the department of Pasco. Specifically, we focus on the inflectional morphology of the noun and the verb from the synchronic dimension. The results presented in this article are the product of the analysis of data collected during a series of fieldwork carried out between 2014 and 2016. In light of the results, it is concluded that the importance of this dialect lies in the fact that it exhibits some unique morphological properties that will be discussed in the corresponding sections. © Los autores.
