Resumen
Parabolic flights play a crucial role in conducting research under microgravity conditions, essential for advancing future space missions. Currently, existing parabolic flight options are primarily available in North America and Europe, posing significant financial barriers for students and young professionals in Peru. The high costs include the flights and international travel and accommodation expenses, making participation challenging for many researchers. This paper proposes the adaptation of an aircraft from the Peruvian Air Force to perform parabolic flights, creating accessible microgravity environments for scientific experimentation. This initiative aims to foster microgravity research within Peru by establishing a local infrastructure for parabolic flights, providing cost-effective opportunities for students, researchers, and professionals. The successful implementation of this project will enable a new platform for scientific and technological advancements, supporting Peru’s involvement in space-related research and innovation.
