Resumen
The soon massive usage of quantum devices, would push engineering programs to accelerate dramatic changes in the content of their courses, as well as to contemplate the insertion of new courses based entirely in quantum mechanics. Thus, one can wonder if such changes might be applied in an anticipated manner, some years before? What are the latent risks? There are solid impediments to carry out these changes in the short term? This paper tries to answer such questions through an exposition of some scenarios that would prepare the territory to an easy adaptation to quantum world. Thus, more than to speak about preparation, it is discussed the potential adaptability as to advance topics and courses without eliminate classical neither traditional approaches that are still essential and basic in the formation of engineers. Therefore, it is presented some educational schemes targeting the inclusion of quantum mechanics from the very beginning of some engineering programs. More than to allocate topics in an arbitrary manner, it is done by following sequential methodologies without to affect the quality of education, severely. Special attention has been paid on the synergy of mathematics and physics courses playing a noteworthy role at the beginning of programs.
