Resumen
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has revolutionized Industry 4.0 across various sectors, including graphic design. However, despite advancements and research on AI's application in art, its use among students remains limited, hindering their ability to master AI tools and thus increase efficiency and productivity in professional or institutional settings. This systematic review aims to describe the effectiveness of different AI applications in enhancing productivity for graphic designers. Publications were gathered from the Scopus database and filtered using the PRISMA protocol. Thirteen articles focusing on AI implementation in various areas of graphic design to address specific issues were examined. The review revealed that AI application boosts inspiration among graphic designers, a crucial factor in productivity as it is intrinsically linked to the speed of the creative process. Furthermore, despite the lack of prior research analyzing the causes of inefficiency among graphic designers, fixation on design was highlighted as the most prevalent and detrimental issue.
