Resumen

Digital transformation involves adopting new methods and technologies, including digital, mobile, social, and development technologies, to change the company. The objective of the study was to conduct a bibliometric analysis on digital transformation in business management from 2004 to 2024. This research used a quantitative bibliometric approach and literature analysis in its methodology. Based on keywords in English (such as digital ADN transformation and business AND management), 1484 papers were selected from Scopus to construct the scientific production indicators. The number of papers published between 2016 and 2023 increased by 85%, suggesting that interest in this field is on the rise. In terms of total scientific output, the Russian Federation ranks first (8.5%), The State University of Management stands out with seventeen published papers. The journal Sustainability Switzerland received 2137 citations, with the author Savastano, M. (n=198) being the most cited. It is concluded that studies on digital transformation in management are evolving dynamically, focusing increasingly on how companies can expand and compete by adapting to new markets and improving customer service. In addition, there has been an improvement in the variety of topics covered, as well as in the authors, sources and resources accessible. Therefore, this bibliometric study can serve as a basis for future studies.
